can you have pregnancy symptoms before you get a positive pregnancy test?

Question by Isabella V.: can you have pregnancy symptoms before you get a positive pregnancy test?
I’ve been have big pregnancy symptoms- nauseous all day since sunday night, headaches, lots of white discharge, my breast are slightly bigger & sore, and i go to the bathroom more.
I had sex with my boyfriend multiple times on September 7th. He wore no condom and i hadn’t started my birth control again.
But i took a pregnancy test last night and this morning and both came back negative.

Could i be testing too early?
And could my birth control be effecting the tests?

If you were feeling symptoms your body would be producing enough hormones for the test to pick it up.
